Creativity & Social Context
As with the other subject I’ve created a document to compile the relevant reading and research that I’ve named. ArtHistoryReading & Research.doc
To date we have covered many of the early Art movements so in trying to summarise my somewhat slap happy notes I have tried to go straight to texts to compile the aspects covered.
This resulted in the following ‘reading list’
|
Essential Art History Author: Duro, P. & M.Greenhalgh ISBN: 0747515859 Publisher: Bloomsbury (1994) From this book I was able to read on the following: Byzantine Art/ Egyptian Art/ Italian Art/ Renaissance Included a page on Filippo Brunelleschi the Italian Goldsmith, sculptor & Architect.
I have scanned for reference the pages covering each of these and will study each in more depth. All these are available in the ArtHistoryReading & Research.doc
